An addition to the Bluff Farm House completed in 2007, the Bluff Farm Pool House provides a lap pool, cabana and guest accommodation to supplement the original house. The pool and guest house form a new precinct to the property, inviting residents and guests to appreciate the southern aspect of the landscape. The pool extends towards the distant hills, a rectilinear form emphasizing the undulating countryside. The guest house itself presents a blank wall of recycled brushed hardwood cladding to the house, a simple boundary defining gesture which defines the pool precinct. The building is a planar pavilion utilizing honest, robust materials on the exterior and warm timbers to the interior.
